Cooperative Extension Anniversary Fund
In celebration of the 100th anniversary of the signing of the Smith-Lever Act that created the Cooperative Extension System, the Extension Centennial Fund was created in 2014. UConn Extension delivers educational experiences in high-tech greenhouses, coastal estuaries, elementary school gardens, community centers for high risk teens, and municipal town halls. Extension programs enhance small businesses, the economic and physical well-being of families, and offer opportunities to improve the decision-making capacity of community leaders. UConn Extension programs have evolved over time to meet new and emerging needs of the Connecticut citizens. Invest in the next 100 years of tying research to real life by giving to the UConn Extension Centennial Fund.
