Honors Student Organizations A Project of Ignite 2016

Everyone deserves an enriching experience! We are raising funds to provide an enriching experience to students outside of the classroom. All funds will be used for conferences, site visits and program support, regardless of if we reach our goal or fall short. These activities expand student development and experiences. Honors organizations offer a blend of academics, personalized experiences, community, and engagement beyond the classroom. Honors organizations showcase the best UConn has to offer! Take the time to read about the growth of Honors organizations here.

Honors in Business Association (HiBA) is one of UConn's premiere organizations for students interested in business. HiBA has hosted multiple alumni panels and executives such as Jim Calhoun, CEO of Converse and Anne Diamond, CEO of UConn Health Center's John Dempsey Hospital. Last spring HiBA hosted site visits to PwC and the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. In April, HiBA will be hosting a trip to the New York Stock Exchange.

Honors in STEM is a new honors organization for students passionate about science, technology, engineering and math. Honors in STEM fosters three fundamental goals: innovation, collaboration and achievement.
