Support the UConn Abrahamic Initiative
UConn Abrahamic Initiative Fund A Project of Global Affairs
People from all over the world come to the University of Connecticut to deepen their knowledge and explore solutions to some of the world's most pressing challenges. At UConn, faculty, scholars, students, practitioners and community members from diverse backgrounds and traditions, engage with a spirit of inquiry, curiosity and global citizenship.
Building on this tradition, the mission of the UConn Abrahamic Initiative is to advance scholarship, deepen understanding, and promote purposeful cooperation within the Abrahamic family—including Christians, Jews, and Muslims in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, the United States and worldwide.
Our goals include fostering cross-cultural critical thinking, building productive dialogue, and encouraging cooperative approaches to research, intellectual engagement and economic development. The initiative is grounded in universal principles of peace, justice, respect for diversity, service and integrity. Our programs are multidisciplinary and bring people together in a safe, diverse, and non-partisan setting. Areas of focus include entrepreneurship, social media, human rights, public health, economic development, and environmental sustainability.
Thank you for your generous gift to support this vital work.
