To support the Italian-American Legal Community

Italian American Law Students' Association (ITALSA) A Project of Law Ignite 2016

The Italian American Law Student Association (ITALSA) is a professionally oriented organization dedicated to fostering an Italian-American legal community. As one of the youngest student affinity associations on campus, ITALSA has emerged as an important piece of the multicultural patchwork at UConn Law. Since our founding, we have expanded our presence both on campus as well as off growing to more than 30 members and connecting with our sister group at Quinnipiac Law School and the Connecticut Italian American Bar Association (CIABA). Though focused on the Italian-American community, our members represent a diverse group whose common thread is a love for Italian culture. As one of the newest groups on campus, we have a limited budget and securing additional funding is vital to our group's future success and expansion. We hope to use the money raised from this competition to host networking and educational events on campus related to Italians in the legal field.
