Advance the next generation of research

Our campaign supports STEM research opportunities for student participants of both the SSS and McNair Scholars Programs.

SSS4PhD A Project of Ignite 2017

SSS4PhD supports UConn undergraduate, STEM majors who are first generation in their family to college, from low-income households, and often identify as an underrepresented group. These students actively participate in the UConn Student Support Services (SSS) and McNair Scholars programs. With each donation, you are supporting the research endeavors of a developing scientist, engineer, or mathematician! From travel expenses to research tools, your minimum of $5 contribution will jump start a student's journey towards graduate school for a Ph.D. degree.

We are no longer accepting donations on this campaign, but there are other ways for you to support us today!
