Support The Dreams of Tomorrow

SSS4Abroad A Project of Ignite 2018

Student Support Services for Abroad (SSS4Abroad) seeks to raise funds to support SSS low-income, first-generation and underrepresented undergraduate students become the global leaders of tomorrow.

UConn Student Support Services (SSS) is an academic and student support-based program housed under the Center for Academic Programs (CAP). SSS provides students who are first-generation to college, from low-socioeconomic backgrounds and/or from populations underrepresented in higher education with access to the university, with services to help them achieve their goal of graduation, and with programming designed to support their academic, professional, and personal growth at UConn and beyond.

SSS4Abroad's goal is to raise funds to assist in eliminating financial obstacles, thereby supporting SSS students in enriching their education through a life-changing education abroad experience.

Donated dollars will be used to provide scholarships to SSS students to help defray the cost of Education Abroad programs and help more students gain international exposure, awareness and appreciation of diverse populations, cultures and become inspired to make an impact on and off campus.
